Correcting a name on a ticket
The name on your ticket must match your passport. If a letter is out of place, let us know as soon as you notice.

Request a callbackContact usAirlines check the ticket name against the passport at check-in, and at some destinations the details are sent ahead to border authorities. A small mismatch can cause delays or, in some cases, a refusal to board.
Most airlines allow minor corrections, such as a transposed letter or a missing middle name, and some charge for it. Changing the name to a different person is generally treated as a new booking. We ask the airline what it will accept for your ticket and quote any airline charge together with our service fee before making the request.
Please check every name carefully when you receive your quote and again when you receive your confirmation. It is far simpler to fix a name before the ticket is issued.

Questions about this service
My ticket is missing my middle name. Is that a problem?
Often it is not, as many airlines accept a ticket without a middle name. Rules vary, though, so send us the details and we will check with the airline.
I recently married and changed my surname. Which name should the ticket show?
The ticket should match the passport you will travel with. If your passport still shows your previous name, the ticket should too.
How close to departure can a name be corrected?
It depends on the airline, and some corrections become harder once check-in opens. Contact us as soon as you notice the error.
