Flight change assistance

Changing a flight you booked with us

Plans shift. When yours do, we find out what your fare permits and set out the cost plainly before anything is touched.

For bookings made through Falak Al Suroor. Airline rules and fees apply, and nothing is changed until you approve a written quote.

Whether a flight can be changed, and at what cost, is decided by the airline's fare rules, not by us. Some fares allow changes for a set penalty, some allow them free of penalty, and some do not allow them at all. We read those rules for your ticket and tell you where you stand.

If a change is possible, we search for the new flights you want and send you a quote made up of three parts: the airline fare difference (if the new fare costs more), the airline change penalty (if the fare rules set one), and our service fee. Our service fee is charged per passenger and is shown on its own line in your quote, before you pay.

Nothing is changed until you approve that quote in writing. Fares are only held for as long as the airline allows, so a quote may need refreshing if some time passes before you confirm.

How it works

  1. Tell us what you need

Share your booking reference and the new date, time or route you would like.

  2. We check the fare rules

An agent confirms whether your ticket can be changed and what the airline charges for it.

  3. You receive a written quote

Fare difference, airline penalty and our service fee, each shown separately in AED.

  4. You approve and pay

Once you confirm and payment is received, we ask the airline to reissue the ticket.

  5. New itinerary sent

We send the updated confirmation for you to check carefully.

Questions about this service

Why does the new flight cost more than the fare I originally paid?

Airlines price each seat at the time you book. If the fare for your new flight is higher than the one you hold, the airline charges the difference on top of any change penalty.

Can I change only the return flight?

Often, yes, although it depends on the fare rules. Some fares treat the journey as a single unit, so changing one flight can reprice the whole ticket. We check this and show you the result in the quote.

My flight was rescheduled by the airline. Is that the same as a change?

No. When the airline changes the schedule, it may offer options without a penalty. Let us know, and we will ask the airline what it will accept for your booking.

Tell us where you would like to be

Share your route and dates, and an agent will put together options with every figure shown in AED for you to consider at leisure.
