Which bookings we can change

We can request changes only for bookings made through Falak Al Suroor. If you bought directly from an airline, please contact that airline.

What the airline allows

Fare rules decide whether dates, times, routes or cabins can be changed, and whether a penalty applies. Some fares cannot be changed at all. We check the rules for your ticket before quoting.

How a change is priced

1. Fare difference: if the fare for the new flight is higher than the fare you hold, the airline charges the difference. A lower new fare does not always produce a refund.
2. Airline penalty: the change charge set in the fare rules, if any.
3. Our service fee: for handling the change. Our service fee is charged per passenger and is shown on its own line in your quote, before you pay.

Approval first

We send the total in writing. Nothing is changed until you approve it and payment is received. Because fares move, a quote may need refreshing if you take time to decide.

Changes made by the airline

If the airline changes or cancels your flight, it may allow rebooking without a penalty. We will ask the airline on your behalf and set out the choices it offers, together with any service fee of ours, before you choose.

After the change

We send your updated itinerary. Please check it carefully, including any new baggage allowance or seat assignment, which may differ from the original.
