Baggage Information

Each airline sets its own baggage rules, and they vary by route and fare. Your quote shows the allowance; confirm it again before you pack.

The airline sets the rules

Baggage allowances depend on the airline, the route, the cabin and the fare type. Two passengers on the same flight can have different allowances. Falak Al Suroor cannot change an airline's baggage rules.

Where to find your allowance

Your quote and e-ticket show the checked baggage allowance, usually as a weight or a number of pieces. If a journey involves more than one airline, the allowance may be set by one of them for the whole trip; we will point this out when it applies.

Cabin baggage

Airlines limit the size, weight and number of cabin items. Liquids, batteries and certain other items are restricted by security rules. Please check the airline's current rules before you pack.

Extra and special baggage

Extra bags, sports equipment, musical instruments and mobility aids may need advance approval and may carry a charge. Tell us early, and we will ask the airline what it requires. Wheelchairs and mobility aids are often carried under separate rules.

Travelling with children

Infant allowances differ from adult ones. Strollers and car seats are often accepted, but the conditions vary. We note what the airline allows in your quote.

Delayed, damaged or lost baggage

Report any problem to the airline at the airport before you leave the baggage hall, and keep the reference you are given. Claims are handled by the airline under its conditions of carriage. We are happy to help you find the right contact for a booking made through us.
